Mike Oquendo Events announces the Florida premiere of "Capicú! Y Otros Cuentos de Mi Abuelito" as the play’s two characters come alive at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Former Orlando prosecutor-turned-comedian, actor and playwright Elizardi Castro performs his one-man show on Friday, January 31st at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, February 1st at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance at www.elicastro.com or $25 at the door on performance day at the Orlando Repertory Theatre, 1001 E. Princeton Street, Orlando, FL. This performance is entirely in Spanish. In "Capicú! Y Otros Cuentos de Mi Abuelito" Elizardi recounts the narratives of the play’s two characters by sharing their stories about the choices they’ve made, living with those choices, and whether they will take action to correct them. On the eve of a family wedding we learn about the common love that unites the two men—the love for the game of dominoes. Perfectly described as “Funny, touching, and infused with a sense of self...” by the Orlando Sentinel, Elizardi masterfully tells all stories with energy and love.
