Leu Gardens will be having a movie night featuring the critcally-acclaimed film To Have and Have Not. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, and guests are invited to bring picnic food and alcohol. The movie will start at 7:30 pm with weather permitting.
The classic 1940s film stars Humphrey Bogart and Laren Bacall and is directed by Howard Hawks. The romantic drama film is based on a novel by Ernest Hemingway and tells the story of a fishing captain who is urged to help with the French Resistance by smuggling people onto an island. He falls in love with an American wanderer on the island amidst his operation.
Gates to Leu Gardens open for guests to set up starting at 6 pm. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 tax for children. Leu Garden Members receive free admission to this event. Payment is collected at the door.
