Date Night - The Hunger Games Catching Fire

Leu Gardens will be having a movie night featuring the film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, featuring performances by Oscar-winning actors Jennifer Lawrence and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, and guests are invited to bring picnic food and alcohol. The movie will start at 8:30 pm with weather permitting.
The 2013 blockbuster film boasts a star-studded cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. It's directed by Francis Lawrence and has a runtime of 146 minutes. The film adaption of the best-selling novel tells the story of a distopian society where warring districts compete for the entertainment of the elite. In this films, rebellions are breaking out, Katniss is torn between two loves, and in the midst of it all, she is sent back into the ring to compete. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire received several accolades from the public, including the MTV Movie Award for Movie of the Year, Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite Movie, and People's Choice Awards for Favorite Year End Movie.
Gates to Leu Gardens open for guests to set up starting at 6 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Leu Garden Members receive free admission to this event. Payment is collected at the door. Curbies Food Truck will be serving food starting at 6 p.m.
