Passion of the Christ Screening

A screening of The Passion of the Christ will be playing at the Holy Land Experience. The Passion of the Christ was released 10 years ago in February of 2004. It was directed by Mel Gibson and stars Jim Caviezel. Upon its released, it was endorsed by many Christian leaders and organizations, including Focus on the Family, Billy Graham, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Young Life, and more. The film was written using accounts from the Gospels and mainted a historically authentic image by utilizing Aramaic and Latin language in the film. The Passion of the Christ was nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Cinematography, Best Makeup, and Best Original Score. The movie is often watched around Easter to remind Christians of the sacrificial love that Jesus Christ expressed at his death on Good Friday.

The Passion of the Christ has 4 showings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A special youth showing will be on Saturday night at 9 p.m. Check the schedule for times.

This is a free showing, and entry to Holy Land Experience is free after 5 p.m.
