  Cariera's by Castelli Cucina Italiana is a Southwest Orlando staple that's served fresh Italian food to locals and visitors since 1975. The quaint yet comfy dining room features photos of the hundreds of regulars, and welcomes you as one of the family.

  The full-liquor bar and lounge is relaxing, while still offering that homey feel. The bar features a variety of specialty liqueurs, ports and cognacs, as well as beer and an extensive wine list. The martini list has all of your favorites, including cosmos and raspberry martinis.

  Whether eating in the lounge or family-friendly dining room, the menu is loaded with appetizers, including stuffed shrimp, calamari and mussels; specialty entrees, such as grilled chicken penne, ravioli and chicken Cariera's; and of course, the highlight of the menu — fresh Italian pizza. Finish off your meal with a handmade dessert.

  At the front of Cariera's is a deli-style shopping area where you can purchase Italian meats, cheeses, antipasti trays, and many hard-to-find Italian imports, like oils, mineral waters and more. If it's Italian and they don't have it, chances are they can order it just for you.

  Cariera's, which has been named Best Family Restaurant multiple times by readers of the Southwest Orlando Bulletin, has live entertainment throughout the week, and outdoor patio dining is also available. Reservation can be made online.
