Crooked Spoon Gastropub
Hours of Operation
Thu - Sat: 11:00 am - 2:00 am
The Crooked Spoon Gastropub was previously one of Orlando’s most popular food trucks, and has now evolved into a popular neighborhood restaurant. Owned by Executive Chef Steve Saelg, the gastropub opened in August 2013 adjacent to the historic Citrus Tower in Clermont.
In addition to all the favorites he served from his food truck, Chef Saelg expanded his menu to include traditional fare with a twist. The menu features starters - hummus, chicken wings, mussels, pulled pork sliders and more; five Florida Angus beef burgers; salads; and more than 10 classic entrées that have been updated, such as herb-marinated grilled chicken breast, flank steak, pork chops, mac and cheese, meatloaf, lobster grilled cheese, and multiple sandwiches. There’s also a separate kids menu and, of course, desserts.
Cocktails and mixers from the full-liquor bar are made with fresh and local ingredients from local vendors. There are 24 beers on tap, as well as bottled beer, craft beers and Florida-brewed beers. Happy hour is every day from 4-7 p.m.
The atmosphere is fun and casual, with a focus on sports. Chef Saelg believes in the philosophy that sports bring people and communities together, so his restaurant focuses on college football, the NFL, soccer, golf and Major League Baseball. Watch the game on one of the many TVs in the dining room, or enjoy your meal on the outdoor patio. Check the website for upcoming special events.
