  You need the nightly password to gain admission to this downtown Orlando speakeasy. Once inside, there are rules that must be strictly followed, including no phones, no photography, no smoking (even outdoors), no ungentlemanly behavior, and no inappropriate orders (think Cosmopolitans).

  Open nightly from 8 p.m.-2 a.m. for all your shoe repair needs, Hanson's has a max capacity of 30-40, so arrive early to guarantee admittance. The shotgun-style interior leads to the outdoor patio, which has additional seating. On weekends and select evenings live musicians entertain from the patio's balcony.

  The artisans at Hanson's are known for their unique, one-of-a-kind, labor intensive repairs; and their friendly service is nearly unmatched in downtown Orlando. They work hard while getting to know you, and you can enjoy their craft while you get to know them.

  Call the shop or send a message through Facebook for the day's password. But be careful about sharing — with only 30 of you getting in, knowledge is literally the key.

  Street parking is available but often hard to find. There are numerous close garages, but make sure to bring cash on the weekends.
