The Sand Lake location offers a large indoor dining room, as well as an outdoor patio with comfortable furniture for additional seating.
Open early for breakfast, Panera serves bagels, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, a granola parfait, numerous baked egg soufflés, pastries and more. The extensive lunch and dinner menus include Panera's baked goods, as well as fresh sandwiches, soups, salads, pasta and panini. One of its most popular menu options is the You Pick Two, which allows guests to mix and match two of their favorites from the soup, salad and sandwhich menus.
Everything is made fresh-to-order, and the soup offerings change daily. Chips, fruit or a chunck of fresh bread complete each meal.
In addition to water and soda, Panera also offers hot and iced coffee, a wide selection of lattes, cappuccino, hot chocolate, espresso, hot teas, frozen coffee drinks, a variety of fruit smoothies, multiple iced teas and more.
The Sand Lake location offers free Wi-Fi, as well as catering services, and can accomodate groups and events of all sizes.
The chain prides itself on giving back to the community, both through local events and its foundation, Panera Cares Community Cafes. Individual locations also offer cooking classes and other events, such as volunteer opportunities.
