  • Profile Overview

The Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre is a beautiful theater and concert hall. Its purpose as a city property is to enrich the community of Orlando, and it certainly does. It hosts Broadway productions touring the country, and it is the home of the Orlando Ballet, Orlando Opera, Orlando Philharmonic and the Festival of Orchestras.

The Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre not only hosts some of the nation's best cultural performances, but it is itself a special piece of Orlando heritage. The original auditorium was built in 1926, and though since then it has been upgraded and renovated several times, the original brick facade still stands within the new glass face of the building.

The auditorium seats 2,431 guests, and there are several paid parking garages and surface lots surrounding the venue.
