Profile Overview
The Magic Kingdom is the first theme park to open in Walt Disney World Florida. It features 6 different areas: Tomorrowland, Fronteirland, Adventureland, Liberty Square, Main Street USA, and the new and improved Fantasyland.
The Magic Kingdom has a multitude of attractions suited for every age, and new excitement is always in the works. Enjoy their popular water rides, roller coasters, or slow rides that take you through beloved Disney tales. The Magic Kingdom also hosts parades daily, including their Celebrate a Dream Come True parade which features live entertainment with Mickey and your favorite Disney characters. There's also the Main Street Electrical parade, which features a dazzling display of lights covering parade floats and character costumes. Other live entertainment includes shows, character greetings, and their nightly fireworks show - Wishes.
Dine in Disney's premium restaurants which feature an array of culinary dishes and exciting themes. Dine with your favorite characters at the Crystal Palace, or enjoy a hearty American meal on the go at Pecos Bill. Plenty of snack carts throughout the park serve Mickey Mouse Premium Ice Cream Bars, glazed nuts, and popcorn.
You'll also find shops throughout the park ready to provide guests with special mimentoes - stuffed animals, picture frames, books, jewelry, clothing, toys, Mickey Mouse ears, and more. You'll even find Florida necessities like sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, and ponchos.
The Magic Kingdom features special events throughout the year, including Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Night of Joy, New Years Eve and Fourth of July fireworks, and much more. They also provides Extra Magic Hours throughout the year which allows visitors to the Disney Resort hotels to enter the parks earlier and stay later.

You'll find the Magic Kingdom located in the northern part of Walt Disney World. It's just west of the Contemporary Hotel and Bay Lake Towers. It can be reached by bus, monorail, and boat, all which can be boarded to and from the parking lots at the Ticket and Transportation Center.

The price goes down per day if you purchase tickets for more than a day. Walt Disney World also has their park hopper option which allows you to visit multiple parks. Multiple vacation packages featuring hotel price and dining are available as well.
