World Bowling Center at Dowdy Pavilion is a state-of-the-art 32-lane bowling center just off Sand Lake Road and International Drive. The center has a fully automated Brunswick Vector scoring system with touch-screen lower monitors. No pencils or computing your own scores! The upper monitors show you how everyone's doing, as well as displays graphic and fun information.
The center's automated bumper system is available for children age 9-younger. The bumpers raise to block the gutters when it's the child's turn, and lower for adults.
World Bowling Center was recently updated from top to bottom, and includes a full-service snack bar with Coca-Cola products and a wide range of food and snacks. There's also a full-liquor bar with beer and wine.
If you're not into bowling, eating or drinking, you can hang out in the newly remodeled arcade and play air hockey or another favorite game.
Costs are $4 per person, per game for adults, and $3 for children. Shoe rentals are $3 per pair and socks are $2.50 per pair. There's also cosmic bowling on select nights, and Sunday specials, as well as Hospitality Tuesdays, Friday Madness, and Moonlight Madness.
Group specials are available, and the center is a great venue for birthday parties.
Ample free parking is available.
World Bowling Center at Dowdy Pavilion is located just off Sand Lake Road, near the International Drive intersection.
