Animal Artists Workshop

Second Saturday, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens

Draw animals with this exciting art class for kids that takes them on a tour through the Central Florida Zoo and teaches them about a variety of wildlife!

  • If you love animals, you're a visitor or local in Orlando, and your looking for creative things to do for kids, then joinYoung Rembrandt for a trip to the Central Florida Zoo. Kids and families will explore the exciting zoo and the many animals that inhabit it. They will then go to the classroom and draw the animals they've seen in the zoo's exhibits. Art materials are provided for the children. Workshops will consist of a 30 minute tour of the Central Florida Zoo followed by an hour drawing class.

    Classes are offered January 11, February 8, and March 8, 2014, from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. and each program will focus on different animals from around the world.

    This is open to grades 1 - 5.
