The Atlanta Braves have their annual spring training at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. The MLB team is based in Atlanta first came to the scene in 1966. Their home base is Turner Field in Atlanta, Georgia. The Braves franchis has three world series titles, their most recent being won in 1995. The last time they attended a World Series was in 1999, and they have 9 World Series appearances overall. Manager Fredi González brings top players Freddie Freeman, Craig Kimbrel, and Justin Upton.
The Atlanta Braves will be playing the New York Mets. The Mets' home stadium is at Citi Field based out of Queens, New York. The Mets were established in 1962, and never did better than finishing second to last for their first seven seasons, until the "Miracle Mets" beat the Baltimore Orioles in the 1969 World Series. The team would go on to play in 3 more World Series games, losing to Oakland in 1973, beating the Red Sox in 1986, and most recently, losing to their cross-town rivals the New York Yankees in 2000. Manager Terry Collins brings top players David Wright, Bartolo Colon, and Zack Wheeler to face off against the Atlanta Braves.
