Expedition Everest Challenge

The Expedition Everest Challenge is a 5K through Disney's Animal Kingdom. The timed endurance event involves an adventure that takes participants through obstacles and on a scavenger hunt around the park. Run as an individual, or sign up with a friend for the two-person team option. Teams can be all male, all female, coed or military.
The 5K run starts at the base camp where runners will make their way through an obstacle course. Follow clues and solve the answers to reach the summit of Everest. The race takes you through Animal Kingdom at nighttime. There will be entertainment along the course and a lively post-race party with refreshments. There will be transportation from the event host resorts.
Those who sign up for the race will receive a Champion Short-Sleeved Tech Shirt in Women's and Men's Cut, Expedition Everest Challenge Finisher Medal, a post-race refreshments, and admission to a special post-race party inside Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Participants must attend Packet Pick-Up at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex to receive their race packet, bib, and tech shirt. Finisher medals will be distributed to finishers after the race. None of these items will be mailed to registrants that did not participate.
