Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a seasonal celebration at the Magic Kingdom that allows guests to enjoy the attractions at the park and holiday themed entertainment for several hours in the evening for a lower price than full day admission. The event is family-friendly with fun things to do for adults and children of all ages.
Watch as the castle transforms during "Celebrate the Magic" from its regular form into a display of colors and lights, finishing off as a gingerbread house complete with candy canes and Christmas presents. "Celebrate the Magic" is at 9:15 pm. The "Celebrate the Season" show at Cinderella's castle features Mickey and the gang in a gift-giving story with their own version of The Nutcracker. Shows are at 7:45 pm, 10:05 pm, and 11:20 pm.
Line up along the streets for Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade with songs, dancing, characters, and exciting holiday parade floats. The parade steps off in Frontierland at 8:15 pm and 10:30 pm. The evening ends with the "Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season" fireworks display featuring an array of holiday colors, Disney songs, Christmas carols, and enchanting characters. The fireworks show begins at 9:30 pm.
Some of the hallmarks guests can enjoy at the park during the Very Merry Christmas Party include the Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show at the Rockettower Plaza Stage. This jolly musical revue features Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski and Stitch as they fight across the galaxy in search of Santa. Shows run through the night starting at 7:45 pm, with the last show starting at 11:45 pm.
Also this year, the Jungle Cruise attraction is being transformed into the "Jingle" Cruise, where the Magic Kingdom's comedic skippers will guide you through a jungle wonderland of seasonal fun.
Kids can pick up complimentary holiday cookies and hot cocoa around the Magic Kingdom park with pick-up locations marked on Disney's special event map. Magic Kingdom's restaurants will also be serving some wintery food including mocha cocoa cupcakes at the Main Street Bakery, seasonal waffles and ice cream at Sleepy Hollow, and peppermint brownies at Westward Ho.
Dance the night away with characters during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Woody and his pals will be at the Diamond Horseshoe Revue for Woody's Hootin' Holiday Open House, or check out Club Tinsel at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. Character dance parties feature fun songs to dance to, and afterwards, children can meet and greet with the characters.
While the kids enjoy stellar rides, parents can get some Christmas shopping done. Stores around the park and on Main Street U.S.A. will be filled with stocking stuffers, toys, and holiday decorations for the home.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place at the Magic Kingdom on select dates from Nov. 8 - Dec. 20. Call and check for available dates, times, and prices for the evening. For more information on the Magic Kingdom, view their profile page.
