    The Philadelphia 76ers began as the Syracuse Nationals in 1946 before moving to Philadelphia in 1963 and becoming the 76ers. They have nine conference titles, five division titles, and three championships, their most recent being in 1982-83 season. Coach Brett Brown brings to the Amway Center top player Thaddeus Young. So far, the 76ers are 6 and 9 for the season.
