The San Antonio Spurs began as the Dallas Chaparrals in 1967 before moving to San Antonio in 1973 and becoming the Spurs. They have five conference titles, nineteen division titles, and four championships, their most recent being in the 2007 season. Coach Gregg Popovich brings to the Amway Center top players Danny Green, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard, Tim Duncan, and Tony Parker. So far, the Spurs are 12 and 1 for the season.
