  • Seniors First's Turkey Trot 5K is a family fun run to benefit Seniors First, a nonprofit that provides social services to Central Florida seniors.

Jumpstart the Thanksgiving feast with a fun work out while helping to raise funds to support our seniors. Meet at Lake Eola to walk, run or trot with the family. It's a good way to get some exercise in before the big Thanksgiving feast and is open to all ages. Awards are given to the top 10 male and top 10 female participants, and there are also trophies for best costumes, best turkey call, and the oldest participant. Participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and race bib, and kids in the Tot Trot receive a ribbon.

Before the race there will be activities for guests to participate in, including a Costume Contest by the Track Shake registration tent at 7 am, and a Turkey Call Contest at the starting line at 7:45 am. The free children's Tot Trot will be at 9:15 am.

If you can't make it, you can still donate online by participating in the RACE to BASTE Fundraiser on the Turkey Trot website.

Seniors First will be collecting towels sets and soaps for their holiday gift drive at the Turkey Trot event.

Seniors First's 24th Annual Turkey Trot 5K will be held at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. For more info on Lake Eola, view their profile page.
