RundgrenRadio.com will be presenting a New Year's Eve concert featuring Todd Rundgren with special guest the Pat Travers Band in Orlando on December 31, 2013 at B.B. Kings in Pointe Orlando. Rundgren's set list will be going the guitar heavy route and he'll be accompanied by his touring band guitarist Jesse Gress, bass player Kasim Sulton, keyboardist John Ferenzik, and guest drummer Gregg Bendian. The Pat Travers Band includes lead musician Pat Travers with Kirk McKim on guitar, Rodney O'Quinn on bass, and Sandy Gennaro on drums.
The Pat Travers Band first came together in 1976. Some of their top charting tracks include "Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)" and "Snortin' Whiskey." Todd Rundgren has been associated with many acts over the years. His top songs include "Hello It's Me," "We Gotta Get You a Woman," and "Set Me Free." He's also down a number of successful covers over the years, and has been covered by other artists. The Pat Travers Band and Todd Rundgren are both renowned as rock artists.
There are two options for admission: a general admission ticket or a reserved seating ticket. Dinner is not included in the $150 per person GA pricing - tickets are for the concert only. General admission is standing room only in front of the stage. Some tables throughout the venue are available on a first come first served basis (over 40 tables/150 seats non-reserved available).
Reserved tables are available on a limited basis for $225 per person (includes a $50 food/beverage voucher for BB Kings). Tables hold 4 people and if you purchase multiple tickets (up to 4) you will be at the same table. If you buy solo, you will be seated with other fans. BB Kings will be offering their full menu for purchase, including a full bar.
The capacity for the Todd Rundgren concert is being capped at no more than 1/2 of the capacity of the venue to help create a New Year's Eve party atmosphere, not just another jam packed concert.
Doors open at 7:30 pm. The Pat Travers Band is estimated to start at 8:30 pm. Todd Rundgren is estimated to start at 10:30 pm.
