  • The Underpants is a comedy adapted by Steve Martin from a 1910 play written by playwright Carl Sternheim. The Underpants tells the story of a wife whose underwear slips in public causing much scandal. Her husband tries to downplay the incident and keep her away from prying eyes, only to find that the public wants more. Hilarity and inappropriate yet clever innuendo ensues as the couple deals with the excitement they've created around town.

    The 9/28 performance of The Underpants is the same night as the UCF home football game. Guests should make sure to arrive early to the theater for this performance. The parking location for home games has changed. Theatre patrons should park in Lots B4 or B6. A parking permit is required and it will be emailed before the performance. Guests should print it out and place it on their dashboard while you are on campus. Golf cart shuttles will meet visitors at the parking lot and take them to the theater.

    The Underpants will be playing Sep. 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 29, and Oct. 3, 4, 5.

    Thursday, Friday, and Saturday showings will be at 8 pm.

    Sunday showings will be at 2 pm.

    This play contains sexual humor that may be inappropriate for younger audiences.
