Warrior Band's 5K Dash

The Warrior Band's 5K Dash is an inaugural run at West Orange High School hosted by the West Orange High School Band. The West Orange Warrior Band currently has over 320 students, with 5 concert ensembles, 4 jazz bands, and a percussion and color guard program. The marching band performs at every varsity football game (home and away) as well as special community events in and around the Winter Garden and Ocoee area.
Funds raised from the Warrior Band's 5K Dash will be used for new instruments and equipment, maintenance of uniforms and instruments, and transportation costs, allowing students to experience all the opportunities that come with the school's music program.
Deadline for the $20/25 entry fee is March 20. There will be an increase in price after this date. Sign up deadline is April 3. Race packets are available April 4, 2014, at Night of Jazz from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. or the morning of the race.
The 5K run will be held at West Orange High School on Beulah Road off Colonial Drive just west of Toll Road 429 in Winter Garden.
