Winter Garden Bike Fest

The Winter Garden Bike Fest is a bicycle route and race around the Winter Garden area. It's also a family event and exposition complete with live music, festival atmosphere, food, drinks, and a kids zone. The Winter Garden Bike Fest is to benefit Drop it n' Drive, a non profit organization aimed on getting the focus of drivers back on the road.
Cyclists can sign up for 10 miles, 30 miles, 62 miles, or 100 miles. The ride start times are different depending on which route you sign up for. Your registration gets you full support on route, SAG stops, an indoor lunch, t-shirt, Criterium Race, bike festival, kids zone, BMX demos and more. This event will be held rain or shine. Remember to bring your chairs and walking shoes so after your ride you can walk around town or find a spot along the race and enjoy the festivities. There are bike racks throughout downtown for your use.
There will be live music in the center of town, and local vendors will set up shop for the festival, and Winter Garden restaurants and shops will be open for visitors.

The festival is in need of volunteers for crowd, traffic control and rider registration. Lunch set up/clean up and other various places may need help. Volunteers will meet at the Winter Garden City Hall. Lunch is included for all volunteers. Times needed are: 6 - 11 a.m., 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.Following the bike festival, check out the Rhythm and Roots live music festival.
The Winter Garden Bike Fest is Saturday, March 8, and will be held in Downtown Winter Garden on Plant Street.
