  Founded in 1946 in Georgia, Chick-fil-A is now a leader in the fast-food industry, known for its original chicken sandwich, and chicken nuggets, strips and other chicken entrees.

  Beginning with mall restaurants and expanding to include stand-alone restaurants, Chick-fil-A now has more than 1,700 locations in 39 states and Washington, D.C., and is the second-largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in U.S.
