    The Groove at Universal CityWalk is a multi-level club that features pulsating music, swirling lights and a full-liquor bar. Dance to the best in Top 40, hip-hop, and top pop hits. There’s a DJ every night, and DJ ET from local radio station 102 Jamz spins every Friday.

    If you want to take a break from the dance floor, there are multiple bars and three themed lounges — the Blue Room with a futuristic sci-fi feel; romantic Red Room; and tranquil Green Room, which has a 70’s vibe. Enjoy a cocktail, beer or wine from any of the bars.

    The club is designed to look like a century-old theater in various stages of renovation; however, don’t be deceived. The Groove has the latest in sound systems, lighting, fog and other effects, including a wall of video screens.

    The Groove is 21+; however, Wednesday is Teen Night from 8 p.m.-midnight, and you must be 15-19 years old with a student ID. Dress is always casual chic, and hats and tank tops are not permitted. Cover is $7 (tax included) and VIP reservations are available in advance via phone.

    Parking is available in the Universal Orlando Resort garage. Regular parking is $16 and preferred is $22; valet is also available. Florida residents park free after 6 p.m. with valid I.D.

    The Groove is located on the upper level of Universal CityWalk, next to Pat O'Brien's.
