  • Profile Overview

Kobé Japanese Steakhouse specializes in teppanyaki, or hibachi, cooking. Personal chefs prepare steak, chicken, and seafood dishes right in front of you according to the ancient hibachi style of food preparation. While the preparation method is traditional, each chef brings his own sense of humor and spontaneity to the table. All entrees are prepared at your table by teppan chefs in a display of flashing knives.

Along with appetizers and desserts, Kobé's menu features sushi and teppanyaki. All teppanyaki entrees come with Japanese clear onion soup, crisp green salad, fresh Oriental vegetables, grilled noodles, and fried rice. Guests can customize any combination of meats into one entree, whether it's steak, fish, chicken, or shellfish.

Along with traditional rolls like California Roll and Philly Roll, Kobé also has signature rolls, like the Spider Roll, Grilled Lobster and Red Dragon Roll.

With a full menu of entrees, there's also a full bar with drinks — beer, wine, sake, champagne, cocktails, and nonalcoholic treats. Try one of the flavored sakes, some plum wine, Ichiban beer, or a Kobe Dragon Berry.

Happy Hour is open-6 p.m. and 9 p.m.-close. Kobé Japanese Steakhouse provides banquet dining for special events, including work outings, rehearsal dinners, and birthdays. It also can accommodate events for more than 250 guests. Catering, conference rooms, and private dining are available.

    Ample free parking is available.

Kobé Japanese Steakhouse — Lake Buena Vista is located in the Vista Centre Shoppes, next to Hooters.
