Profile Overview
Schumann's Jäger Haus is a German restaurant that recently opened in the heart of downtown Orlando, on historic Church Street. The authentic restaurant was founded by the Mulvaney family, who have created and managed more than a dozen Irish pubs in Florida. This time, the Mulvaney children created a restaurant that focuses on traditional German cuisine and atmosphere.
The menu features German staples, such as Kase Spatzle, Bavarian Brezeln, Wiener Schnitzel, Traditional Goulash, Bratwurst, Apfelstrudel and more.
The drink menu includes selections that have been imported from all across Germany. In addition to eight beers on tap, there are import and bottled beers, wine and schnapps — almost all from Germany and available by the liter, if one so chooses.
The decor is distinctly German, with beer steins adorning the bar, wood everywhere, typical German-style doorways and arches, and German artwork throughout.
Minimal street parking is available, but there are paid lots throughout downtown. However, on weekends many lots only take cash, so don't forget to stop by an ATM.
Schumann's Jäger Haus is located on historic Church Street in downtown Orlando, next to Kres Chophouse.
