Two Bits! Four Bits! Six Bits! A Dollar! All for the Gators Stand up and … head over to Thirsty Gator – Orlando’s premiere Florida Gator-themed sports bar. Renowned for their cold beer and the “best oysters in town,” this family friendly restaurant combines great food with a comfortable atmosphere.
Established in 1986 by owner and former University of Florida football player, Tim Groves, the Thirsty Gator is the ideal place to watch any college or professional sporting event. With high-definition televisions on every wall, patrons can watch their favorite team score as they enjoy a plate of fresh oysters or chomp down on some delicious wings. Chomp, chomp!
Every Monday and Friday hosts blind draw darts at 8 pm. There are also pool tables and a juke box full of classic tunes to get the Orange and Blue house rockin’ and screaming Go Gators!
Thirsty Gator is located off Goldenrod Road in the Belmont Plaza right on the border between Orlando and Winter Park.
