Profile Overview
Summer dance camp is so much fun at Centre for Dance and Performing Arts! Children will be happy and healthy this summer while they develop ideas, choreograph, design, direct, write and produce action-based movement expressions, performance in art and dance. In addition to dance technique, the areas of art, music, creative writing, arts-integrated academics, health and nutrition will all be incorporated into daily classes and projects. Workshops culminate in an Informal Showing for parents 1 hr prior to release time on the final day!
A 10% discount may be applied for sibling/family participating in both Summer Nights and Summer Days or two or more workshops. All workshop fees are in keeping with area summer camps and include supplies. Students must bring their own snacks and lunch as appropriate for their dietary needs. Early drop off and/or late pick up may be arranged or before and after care at $5 per hour.DANCING STORYTIME

Young Readers (ages 5 to 7): $125 (Half – Day option 9:30 – 12:30)
Storytellers (ages 7 to 12): $175
Words inspire movement and stories make dances. This week long camp with explore the varied connections between the words we use and the stories we tell with our movements. Dancers will be bringing books to life!----

SCOTTISH HIGHLAND DANCE INTENSIVE

Step up your game in this one week intensive for all levels and ages. Age-Appropriate for Ages 7 and up. Some prior knowledge of Highland Dance basics required. Designed to meet the needs of the competitive highland dancing student. Skills, drills, new dances and new steps.----
Praise, Cheer and Tumble for Christ!
July 14-18 9:30 -2pm - All ages ( ***however if your child is under 10 years old, please call prior to enrolling so we can be sure this will be a good fit)
This is going to be super fun for the children in your home who are constantly making up dances, flipping on furniture or performing in general. They will learn fundamentals and proper techniques for beginning tumbling and cheerleading/acrobatics and incorporate it all into a single production celebrating the gospel. Special vocal performance by a mosaic Church worship team member will accompany the Parent/family production on Friday! Treat!
