  • Profile Overview

Grand Cypress Golf Club offers four golf courses that are open to guests at The Villas of Grand Cypress, as well as for tournaments, members and limited public play.

The first three courses — North, South and East Nines — are unlike many other Orlando golf courses in that they test accuracy, rather than strength and distance. The original North-South combination is a demanding, target-style test, while the wooded East Nine is more generous with less bunkers. All three courses have a variety of tee boxes and can be combined as North-South, South-East or East-North. Each combo offers a distinctive playing experience that will challenge even the best golfers.

The original North-South course was renovated and redesigned in 2007-08, and golf legend Jack Nicklaus came back to Grand Cypress to change play on several of the holes. The courses originally opened in 1984 (North, South) and 1986 (East).

The New Course is Nicklaus' tribute and homage to the famed Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. The Scottish links course has double greens, stone bridges and walls, gorse mounds, burns and pot bunkers as deep as 12 feet. There isn't a lot of water, and very few trees are located within the interior of the course, but a wayward tee shot could land in one of the 150 pot bunkers.

Membership options include individual, family, corporate and junior.

Grandy Cypress Golf Club is located near the intersection of Winter Garden-Vineland and Apopka-Vineland roads.
