    Harry P. Leu Gardens is an extravagant garden able to sustain exotic blooms and native species of flora. Guests can take a guided tour, walk around, take pictures, and learn about the Leu family and horticulture.

    The gardens are home to beautiful plants and flowers including azaleas and roses, elms and oaks, hibiscus and magnolias, and even bananas and oranges. Plants thrive throughout the year, and guests can check online for what's in bloom. If a visitor doesn't recognize a plant, they can just flip out their smart phone and scan the closest QR code for more information.

    The Leu House Museum on site is the restored 19th century home of the Leu family. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tours are available every half hour starting from 10 am until the last tour at 3:30 pm.

    The Garden Gift Shop has a unique array of garden keepsakes, books, decor and more. Gift certificates are available for the shop, special events at Leu Gardens, and a variety of classes.

    Leu Gardens also has a library with over 2,000 books and more than 40 magazines relating to gardening, horticulture, and botany. Call (407) 246-2620 to see if the library is open.

    If you have a question about a plant in your yard or an annoying weeds, go to the Plant Clinic. The Plant Clinic lets visitors talk to a Master Gardener from Orange County Extension Services in the Leu Gardens' Palm Room every Wednesday from 3 pm - 5 pm.

    At Leu Gardens, plant enthusiasts can schedule an appointment to cut plants or collect seeds. On the first Monday of each month, enjoy free admission to the Gardens in the daytime. Leu Gardens hosts school field trips and a variety of other special events. A variety of classes and camps including history, fitness, cooking, gardening, and more are available. The grounds and Leu House also serve as a wedding venue or a great place to host a private function.

    Nature-inspired art and rotating exhibits are regularly featured in the Welcome Center. Pictures at Leu Gardens are only permitted for personal use, not commercial. Commercial photography or video must be authorized by the Director or Special Events Coordinator at Leu Gardens.
