  Profile Overview

  EPCOT is an acronym for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It was a vision of Walt Disney to create a city that would stand as a model of achievement in urban planning. Instead, it became a theme park offering a glimpse into our world - from the international community, to science, and to the future.

  EPCOT features many exhibits, attractions, and restaurant serving cuisines from around the world.

  Future World features Spaceship Earth, a ride hidden within the iconic 18-story geodesic sphere that takes visitors through the history of communication. Future World also includes multiple interactive exihibits that teach families about science, industry, and innovation. You can watch shows, play games, and experience the latest in cutting edge technology. There are also fun rides at Mission Space, The Land, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and more.

  EPCOT's World Showcase houses 11 pavilions that offer visitors a chance to experience the culture of other countries. Countries include Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, America, Italy, Germany, China, Norway, and Mexico. Shops and restaurants offer food and souvenirs from each nation. You'll also find fun rides, educational shows, and live entertainment. Look out for your favorite Disney characters in their homelands.

  IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is EPCOT's award winning live event. It features a beautiful display of fireworks, LED lights, music, and takes place across the World Showcase Lagoon.

  You can find lots of fun events at EPCOT throughout the year, including the International Food & Wine Festival, International Flower & Garden Festival, and Candlelight Processional. Some of Disney's marathons loop through EPCOT as well, including the Wine & Dine Half Marathon.

  Disney offers multiple vacation packages the include admission to other parks, or special rates on hotels and dining for short or longer visits.

  EPCOT is located south of EPCOT Center Drive. It's recognizable by the iconic Spaceship Earth geodesic sphere that people have dubbed the giant golf ball.

  The price goes down per day if you purchase tickets for more than a day. Walt Disney World also has their park hopper option which allows you to visit multiple parks. Multiple vacation packages featuring hotel price and dining are available as well.
