Style Sneak Peek

Downtown Orlando Fashion Week offered plenty of things to do — nightly events, nightly after parties, and a pretty cool fundraiser to benefit Harbor House of Central Florida. Rob and Jessica of Ready Inc. put a ton of time into this annual event, and both were so super nice and great to work with. I attended the grand finale — a fashion show featuring multiple designers at The Orange Studio on Mills Avenue. Below are some of my pictures from the show, giving you the highlights of each designer's collection.
Some tips if you plan to attend next year:
Arrive "fashionably" late, because that's when things usually start. "Fitting," one might say? :)
Understand that it's up-and-coming designers. Some of the designers were really talented, but keep in mind that most are recent design school grads.Peruse the pics, enjoy the pics, critique the pics. Some pieces were great; some needed a little Tim Gunn "Make it work" advice. Now go! Get your Heidi Klum/Nina Garcia/Zac Posen on and pick your favorites:
Angie Odum, Angel Ice Clothing
Young Lin, Young Lin Collection bridal gowns
Chelsea Bell, Chelsea Bell Designs
