  On April 26th, 2014, Jambando and The Plaza LIVE present the 9th Annual Spring Jambando, celebrating 11 years as Central Florida’s premier jam band showcase with 15 acts on 3 stages delivering 7 hours of original Orlando music by some of the hardest working bands in town, all at Orlando’s historic live music venue, The Plaza LIVE. Each year, the Spring Jambando showcases an impressive cross-section of Orlando’s music scene for our biggest annual event. This year’s showcase sees the return of longtime Jambando luminaries Shak Nasti, funkUs and Eugene Snowden as well as a rare set by RocketFish alongside newer projects making the scene, Paddington Ambush, The Dropa Stone and many more. Musical styles for the evening include funk rock, reggae, progressive jam rock and blues with singer/songwriter sets by Drew Yardis, Lauren Lester and others. In addition to the music, Jambando will also offer a selection of food trucks, local artists and a vibrant vending scene outside from 5 – 9:30pm and inside from 6pm – 12:30am.

  Jambando will also continue to celebrate 11 years on May 26, 2014 by returning to the Orlando Fringe Festival where the Fringe Jambando (now called the Spring Jambando) and the idea behind Jambando was born. Since May 2003, Jambandos have sprung up all over Florida showcasing the best bands statewide. From creating the Jambando concert series at the Hard Rock Live to hosting stages for music festivals at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park or the Florida Music Festival, as well as producing Jambando events at The Plaza LIVE.
