For Universal's Mardi Gras celebration, successful artists in the music industry all grace the Universal stage to perform a live concert for visitors to the park. This year's lineup include top acts from around the country. This family-friendly party filled with music and fun lets families experience Mardi Gras fun with dazzling parades, street performers, cajun food, and beads by the handful. See below to view concert dates.
Seating and viewing for the concert is on a first come, first serve basis at the parks. If you wish to get a good spot, your best bet is to come early and wait in line.
May 17th - The Roots
The brainchild of childhood friends Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter, The Roots began their career playing bucket drums and freestyling on the streets. Fast forward a few decades, and The Roots was named one of the greatest live acts by Rolling Stone. Their career has evolved to include a weekly gig as the house band for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, hosting sold-out jam sessions across country, and consistently churning out Grammy®-nominated albums.May 24 / Cher Lloyd
