Every day, students around the world attend Mathnasium learning centers to boost their math skills. Mathnasium is highly specialized — its expert tutors only teach math. Members usually attend two or three times each week for about an hour.
Mathnasium's goal is to significantly increase a child's math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward math.
Owners Emile and Susan LaPointe know students don't hate math — they hate being confused and intimidated by math. With understanding comes passion. And with passion comes growth.
Mathnasium in Winter Garden teaches math in a way that makes sense to kids. The center offers:
Expert math tutors — Tutors only teach math and specialize in grades two-12. Using the time-tested, proprietary Mathnasium Method, staff members are committed to helping children catch up, keep up and get ahead in math.
Custom learning plans and personalized instruction — Each child receives personlized instruction and a customized learning plan based on his or her unique needs and goals. The results are measureable progress and confidence in math.
Homework help — Math tutors provide homework help that addresses gaps in knowledge and teaches proper study skills. Homework will be seen as a welcome challenge and opportunity for further learning.
